“When something can be read without effort,Great effort has gone into its writing” is a famous quote from Enrique Poncela. When it comes to write ups, words carry alot of weight.

And i quote “The eye is the window of the soul, the mouth the door” by Hiram Powers. Weighty right? What we read goes to our soul and ends up directing how we behave. Just as Lyrics is to music..words is to writting. It shows the mind of the author,the mood and his character. We can easily tell a person by how he speaks. Words that are well articulated gives us the imagery of what the speaker wants to put forth. They give us the exact feeling of the author. It is evident as different quotable authors, though dead but still live in their writtings for generations. A perfect example is William shakespeare quoted till todate and i quote ” No legacy is so rich as honesty”.

He also said “If we are true to ourselves we cannot be false to anyone” Thoughtful right? Yes!! Exactly how Enrique put it. Authors writing to be understood. It takes effort to be understood. Do you agree with me?

UNDERSTANDING

In all thy getting get understanding.

This being my very first article and experience as an author.. this got me and hit me to my nerves. In all thy getting get understanding. Insight is also a synonym for the word Understanding. Proverbs 4:7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get get insight.

In other words get understanding. Understanding is more like comprehension of a circumstance. Getting full knowledge of something. As a Bride of Christ this is crucial.. understanding everything about the kingdom. Ignorance is expensive.

In kingdom matters understanding comes along with Revelation as Revelation is progressive. The more you know God the more you want to know him. This is made possible by our helper the Lord Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of understanding

(Isaiah 11:1-3). Let us see what Paul is saying in Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory,may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him.

Its until you encounter and be fully immersed in the Holy Spirit that you will understand the mysteries of the kingdom for they are made known to us. Christ is the mystery which the Old prophets could not comprehend. Even the Angels themselves can not fully explain this. How priviledged are we that he lives in us!!!

John 6:54-66 talks of Christ saying that whoever feeds on his flesh and drinks his blood will live forever and some disciples deserted him. Not everyone can handle the truth and thereby limiting their understanding of our Lord Christ Jesus. It is my prayer that we shall seek above all Understanding in our place of intimacy with God.
